PRBee vs Claude Code auto-fix
Claude Code auto-fix watches a pull request you point it at from a cloud session and pushes fixes for its CI failures and review comments. PRBee runs on your own machine, finds the pull requests that need something by itself, reviews other people's, and also resolves conflicts.
| PRBee | Claude Code auto-fix | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | On your own Mac, Windows or Linux machine. Your code goes only to GitHub and to the agent provider you already use. | In a Claude Code cloud session, on infrastructure Anthropic manages or on your organization's self-hosted environment. |
| Which model | Your own Claude Code or Codex, signed in with your account or an API key. | Claude. |
| Price | $5 a month or $50 a year for one license, which runs on 2 machines. 30 days free, no card. Your agent's usage is billed by Anthropic or OpenAI, within cost ceilings you set. | Included with Claude Pro, Max, Ultra and Team, and eligible Enterprise seats. It counts toward your plan's usage limits, with no separate charge for the cloud machine. |
| Reviews | Reviews your colleagues' PRs and your own drafts in a full checkout of the repository, at the depth you choose: the diff alone, its direct neighbours, targeted searches, or the whole code path from the entry point down. A finding it cannot verify in the code is not posted. | Not what auto-fix is for: it acts on the comments and CI results a pull request receives. |
| Review cost | No per-review credits. A deeper review spends more of your own agent's tokens, inside the per-job ceiling you set. | Not applicable. |
| After the review | Works through your own PRs on its own schedule: answers each review thread with a commit and a reply, fixes red builds, resolves conflicts, keeps branches current, and merges when you switch that on. A thread it cannot decide is held for you. | Pushes fixes for CI failures and review comments on the pull requests you switch it on for, and asks you first when a comment is unclear. It does not react to merge conflicts on its own, since GitHub sends no event when one appears. |
| Learning | Keeps lessons from what your reviewers catch, and follows your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md and .claude/rules files. | Reads your CLAUDE.md like any Claude Code session. |
| Who it covers | The GitHub account you sign it in with. Each developer who wants it runs their own copy. | Each pull request you switch it on for, in repositories with the Claude GitHub App installed. |
